The Basics of Aromatherapy with Susanna DiGennaro of Evolutional Health, LLC. Aromatherapy is nature’s ability to provide holistic approaches to aide in the natural healing process.
This class will briefly cover the history of essential oils and the methods of distillation. In addition to: plant parts used, sustainability, and especially relevant, essential oil safety.
Furthermore, you will learn how mixing the properties of two plants can change the desired outcome while using essential oils.
This 75 minute class will include sampling aromas through smell. If you have any sensitivity to certain aromas, you may want to take a pass on smelling the oils or as a result, prepare yourself to have a reaction to an aroma.

Cost: $7 General Admission, $5 RBG Members; will include printed and note taking materials (where applicable), and most noteworthy: a booklet from the Alliance of International Aromatherapists, in addition to, access to Rotary Botanical Gardens’ grounds, and finally, light refreshments.
