Botanic Talk: Transform Your Front Yard With Vegetables and Natural Landscaping

September 26 @ 6:00 pm - 7:30 pm

Fall is the perfect time to plan your spring vegetable

garden or to add natural landscaping to your yard.

Janesville has a new ordinance that allows vegetable gardening and natural landscaping in your front yard. Come check out the details of this ordinance and how these new possibilities could work for you. Learn about vegetable gardening, natural landscaping, and rain gardens and how to make them a part of your personal home landscape. Beginning gardeners / landscapers and owners of corner lots are especially encouraged to attend.

Join Wes Enterline, Sustainability Coordinator at UW-Whitewater since 2008 and a member of Janesville’s Sustainability Committee, and gardener-naturalist Ann Pedder Reilly to learn how to get started.
