Community Appreciation Day – “We Love Our Community Helpers”

What is Community Appreciation Day?

During Rotary Botanical Gardens’ Community Appreciation Day, we partner with a local non-profit to help raise awareness and collect donations to help sustain their mission. All donations collected during our Community Appreciation Days are then split with the partnering organization and Rotary Botanical Gardens. We also say thank you to the Hedberg Public Library for their contributions through youth activities during our Community Appreciation Day. Do I have to pay to attend?

You do not have to pay general admission. Community Appreciation Days are our way of saying “thank you” to the community. General Admission fees are waived, but we truly do appreciate donations during these events. Your donation is split between RBG and another non-profit so you can help two wonderful organizations at the same time!

What time is this event?

  • 9 a.m. – 8 p.m. – General admission fees are waived during this time.
  • 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.Hedberg Public Library Bookmobile, Police Officers, Food Trucks
