Summer Color

I find I’ve been using the camera on my smart phone as much as my “point and click” camera that I carry around as well.  These blog photos are all from my phone camera which captures some fun images in high resolution.  The ginkgo (Ginkgo biloba) shot above was at my home last week after all the recent rains.  I sure love that tree!  It was an absolutely beautiful weekend with sunshine and warm (not too hot!) temperatures.  Today was another nice one although it was quite windy.  We have the chance of rain over the coming two days so we only did some spot watering as needed today but had a very productive day overall.  Our grounds staff of Janice, Cindy, Alex, Big John, Terry and I all had many different tasks.  With most of spring planting accomplished, we’re moving on to some other timely projects including keeping up with weeding!  Our volunteer crew was solid with Marleen, Kath, Kathy P., Eva, Shirley H., Nancy M. with two RECAPPERS, Dave, Jim, Vern, Steve J., Ron Y., Ron R., Derrick, Steve E., Dennis, Bob K., Lisa I., Alan, Mike P., Kristin, Stan, Flannery, Dylan, Larry O., Hayden, Jenny E., Marv, Mary Kay, Maury, Dr. Gredler, Gary S. and many others.  It was another great day.
