Volunteers are essential to the vitality of Rotary Botanical Gardens! We’d love to connect with you to learn about your volunteering goals.

Ambassadors – walk the Gardens’ paths during hours of operation to ensure safety of our guests while providing a positive presence in the Gardens and occasionally assist with wedding guests. A great opportunity to work in pairs with a friend or spouse.
Assigned Gardener – provide care for your own specific garden area, on your own schedule.
Clerical Support – assist staff with a variety of projects including mailings, data entry and phone calls.
Docent/Tour Guide – guide bus tours and groups through the Gardens conveying the history and design of the Gardens and entertain questions.
Education – provide diverse youth and family programming that utilizes the Gardens as a living classroom including school programs and tours, seminars and family-friendly activities.
General Gardening – assist with various gardening projects throughout the year. There is always something to do!
Grumpies & Grumpettes – paint, build, repair and garden with this informal and fun group whose name is derived from the “Grumpy Old Men” movie. Mondays and Thursdays from 8 am to 12 pm.
Saturday Garden Work Days – get involved on select Saturdays during the growing season when specific projects are competed throughout the Gardens. Not limited to, but ideal for employers, church groups, clubs, etc.
Sunday Watering Crew – water containers located throughout the Gardens on Sunday mornings.
