Combine creative lettering with the power of positive affirmations in this reflective one-hour workshop led by Laura Kenyon. Laura has spent 14 years exploring hand lettering across every medium and method she could find, and she brings that same curious, welcoming approach to this class.
The session opens with a review of illustrative lettering basics, including letter structure and decorative techniques, followed by a demonstration of how to apply lettering to short affirmation phrases. You'll then move into "I Am" journaling, learning how to write affirmations in the present tense and develop a personal affirmation practice that feels authentic and sustainable. Time is built in to create lettering-based affirmation journal pages and reflect quietly during the workshop.
While the Beginner Hand Lettering class is recommended, it is not required. All are welcome.
Registration fee includes art supplies and instruction. Seats are limited to 20 participants.
