About the event
Get ready for a messy, magical science adventure! Solids, Liquids, and Gas! Oh My! is a three-hour STEAM camp for kids ages 6 to 10 packed with hands-on experiments and ooey-gooey fun. Campers will explore what makes solids, liquids, and gases so unique while creating their own Oobleck, bouncy balls, colorful lava lamps, and soft kinetic moon sand. The excitement heads outside for a high-energy garden game inspired by the states of matter, then campers cool off with a tasty root beer float treat. Bubbling reactions, stretchy creations, and plenty of surprises guaranteed!
This camp is part of Curiosity Camp: A Hands-On STEAM Summer Series, a new program at Rotary Botanical Gardens designed to spark imagination and bring science, technology, engineering, art, and math to life through interactive experiments, creative projects, and outdoor exploration.
A snack is included. Please dress to get messy! No walk-ins — advance registration required.
