About the event
Campers will create colorful bubble art masterpieces, investigate the surprising shapes bubbles can form, and uncover the chemistry behind "dancing bubbles" using baking soda and vinegar. The fun continues with a bouncing bubble activity, and campers will build their own bubble cubes out of pipe cleaners to explore geometry and structure. To top it all off, everyone enjoys a root beer float while learning how bubbles give this classic treat its fizz!
This camp is part of Curiosity Camp: A Hands-On STEAM Summer Series, a new program at Rotary Botanical Gardens designed to spark imagination and bring science, technology, engineering, art, and math to life through interactive experiments, creative projects, and outdoor exploration.
A snack is included. Please dress to get messy! No walk-ins — advance registration required.
