About the event

Considered the father of modern conservation, Aldo Leopold shaped how we think about our relationship with the natural world. In celebration of Aldo Leopold Week, Rotary Botanical Gardens invites you to a free community program centered on Leopold’s life, work, and enduring land ethic.


The morning includes a screening of Green Fire: Aldo Leopold and a Land Ethic for Our Time, followed by guided small-group discussion, a group reflection, and a guided tour of the gardens.


The first 45 registrants will receive a free copy of A Sand County Almanac.


This is a free event, but pre-registration is required. No walk-ins will be accepted.
