Bring the magic of story time into the garden! Once Upon A Garden is a new seasonal program at Rotary Botanical Gardens that pairs a beloved classic children's book with hands-on garden activities designed for children ages 4 to 7. Pre-registration is highly recommended.

About the event
Once Upon a Garden brings a different story to life through creative, nature-inspired experiences that spark curiosity, imagination, and a love of the outdoors.
Each session is inspired by a different classic book and features unique activities tied to the story and the season. Past and upcoming featured books include Sunflower House by Eve Bunting, Lola Plants a Garden by Anna McQuinn, Planting a Rainbow by Lois Ehlert, Miss Rumphius by Barbara Cooney, and Leaf Man by Lois Ehlert.
