About the event
Join us at Rotary Botanical Gardens for a hands-on Acrylic Pouring workshop led by local artist Nancy McKinnon. This two-session class is all about experimentation, movement, and letting go of control, no prior painting experience needed.
Nancy will start with a live demo, then guide participants through the acrylic pouring process as you create your own abstract designs on a birdhouse. The first session focuses on pouring and design; the second session covers assembly and finishing. Every piece turns out differently, and that’s part of the fun.
Seats are limited so Nancy and her assistants can provide individual guidance. Expect to get a little messy, gloves are provided, but wear old clothes or bring an apron. Due to drying time, artwork will stay overnight between sessions.
