About the event
If you are new to watercolor or just need a beginner refresher, this workshop is the perfect introduction.
Join local artist Nancy McKinnon for a hands-on Beginner Watercolor Workshop at Rotary Botanical Gardens. You’ll learn the basics of watercolor painting, including an overview of paints, brushes, paper, palettes, and essential techniques.
Participants will create a small sample booklet during the class to record and practice each technique. This intimate workshop allows for individual guidance and is an excellent foundation for anyone interested in exploring watercolor further.
All materials are supplied. Please bring a notebook, pencil, eraser, and ruler. Expect to get messy. Gloves will be provided, and old clothing or an apron is recommended.
