About the event
StoryWalk at Rotary Botanical Gardens brings Millie Fleur's Poison Garden to life in our children's garden. Stroll through the Gardens at your own pace, reading the story page by page along the path, then enjoy hands -on activities and art inspired by the book, all created by our talented Volunteer Crafters.
This year's featured book is Millie Fleur's Poison Garden by Christy Mandin, a charming picture book about an unconventional girl who plants a garden of wonderfully strange plants, teaching a beautiful lesson about celebrating what makes you different. Presented in partnership with Hedberg Public Library.
The StoryWalk® Project was created by Anne Ferguson of Montpelier, VT and developed in collaboration with the Kellogg-Hubbard Library. StoryWalk® is a registered service mark owned by Ms. Ferguson.
