Story & Stroll

This early literacy series is a themed, one-hour program that includes a half-hour story time and a half-hour of activities, games and crafts related to that session’s theme. The programs are held outside in the Gardens when weather allows, and moved indoors in the event of rain.

Story and Stroll is held on the first Wednesday of the month May-June & August-October. Story and Stroll themes are posted on Facebook at least a week before each program.

​

We will continue to offer a take-home item or activity that is related to the sessions theme. This allows children to express their creativity in new and exciting ways and will also reinforce early literacy concepts introduced during the live programming.
